Our Ministries
youth ministry
The Youth Ministry program offers resources, networking, and support for individuals involved in ministering to youth and young adults. Our program focuses on leadership development, faith formation, and service learning, providing specialized resources and information to empower individuals in these important roles.
OUR VISION
We aim to empower youth to discover and pursue their D.R.E.A.M.S. (Dynamic, Realizable Efforts to Attain and Maintain Success) and take ownership of their future.
OUR MISSION
We achieve this by enriching the lives of young people, expanding their learning opportunities, guiding them towards a hopeful future, and collaboratively working to bring that future to fruition. Central to our program is the provision of safe, respectful, and celebratory technology training. We equip our youth with cutting-edge computer skills, including web design, computer networking and repair, and video production.
Through our program, we aim to accomplish the following goals:
- Decrease the high school dropout rate within our community.
- Cultivate hope for the future, create employment opportunities, foster business development, and provide educational pathways for young individuals, specifically those aged 13 to 30 who have left school prematurely.
children ministry
The mission of Children’s Ministries is to engage with children, leading them into a relationship with Jesus and their church, while providing support and training for those involved in ministering to children [citation:11].
In response to Christ’s call to care for His young followers, the goals of Revelation house Children’s Ministries are to empower and equip individuals at all levels engaged in children’s ministry, focusing on developing:
1. Relational ministries that foster a deep friendship with Jesus based on grace, worship, community, and service.
2. Inclusive ministries to value and involve both volunteers and children from diverse backgrounds.
3. Well-informed ministries with trained personnel equipped for effective outreach and nurturing of children.
4. Professional ministry networks to encourage, inform, and support each other in ministering effectively to children.
5. Collaborative ministries uniting various departments in the church to fulfill the mission effectively [citation:12].
To achieve the goals set forth in the mission, specific initiatives have been identified:
1. Emphasize grace as the core message by promoting God’s grace and training staff to maintain this focus.
2. Showcase diversity and inclusiveness in all aspects by involving individuals from various backgrounds and developing materials that encourage acceptance.
3. Educate and motivate volunteers by offering certified training programs and providing resources for Children’s Ministries.
4. Establish support networks to generate expertise and ideas for the benefit of all members.
5. Foster cooperation with family and youth ministries to create a conducive environment for nurturing children’s faith development [citation:13].
prayer ministry
The Prayer Ministry is committed to equipping you with in-depth knowledge and understanding of prayer, encompassing the how-tos, the significance behind prayer, and the optimal times for prayer. Moreover, we offer practical examples that illustrate the tangible effects of prayer and how it influences your relationship with God. You are encouraged to share your prayer requests online, allowing us to provide the support you need and enabling you to contribute to the online prayer wall. If you seek communal prayer, please feel free to email us your prayer requests, and we will stand in prayer with you.
evangelisim ministry
The Evangelism Team’s vision is to cultivate a deep sense of compassion for sharing the gospel within every member of Solid Rock, in line with the directive in Mark 16:15 to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Driven by our shared calling to be witnesses for Christ, we actively engage in community outreach, both as a collective and through one-on-one and door-to-door interactions. Additionally, we conduct monthly evangelism initiatives, gathering on the first Saturday of every month at 12:30pm at a predetermined location to engage in evangelistic activities.
